I dropped a 50 lb suitcase on my foot and broke a toenail while on vacation . Upon my return I was able to get a same day emergency appointment with Dr. Cappiello even being a first time patient . She is a wonderful, knowledgeable and a kind Doctor with a great personality and genuinely cares for her patients and it is very apparent. She was able to treat my damaged nail and replace it with a Keryflex nail. It looks amazing. She was so skilled at application it looks and feels so natural. No one would be able to tell. Her office staff is also very nice and pleasant. I couldn’t be more pleased and highly recommend Dr. Cappiello. I would give her 100 stars if I could. Thank you!!!

I cannot recommend Dr. Cappiello enough. She has treated my damaged toenail with Keryflex twice now, both times making the replaced nail look completely natural. It truly is amazing! She is also extremely genuine, kind, and personable. I’ve been seeing her for a toenail issue that isn’t exactly pleasing on the eye (before Keryflex!), but she never makes me feel self-conscious or embarrassed. Her clear expertise makes every appointment smooth and stress-free. I have not one bad thing to say!

The Keryflex™ Nail Restoration System is an innovative new solution available to treat toenails damaged by fungus, infection, or injury and restore them to their original appearance. Keryflex™ utilizes polymer resins that bond to the damaged toenail to form an artificial nail that is durable, flexible, and natural in appearance. The painless procedure typically takes about 15 minutes to perform and can be done in the comfort of the office.

How Does Keryflex Nail Restoration Work?

The Keryflex™ Nail Restoration System involves preparing the nail bed by removing the damaged nail. A bonding agent is then applied to the nail bed. Following this, the Keryflex™ resin is applied to the nail bed. The resin, which is gel-like in consistency, can then be smoothed and shaped to imitate a natural nail. Once the resin has been properly shaped, the Keryflex™ sealant is applied to seal the Keryflex™ nail and make it non-porous and non-permeable. The entire Keryflex™ nail is then hardened via ultraviolet light, ensuring that it has been restored to its natural appearance.
